What Dispatch is
Dispatch is a free, editor-kept web directory — at present 794 websites filed by hand into 22 sections. It runs on an old idea borrowed from the newsroom: a site earns its place because a person read it and decided where it belonged, not because a ranking formula pushed it up. You read the section you want, scan the entries, and go straight to the source.
Editorial standards
Every submission passes a desk review before it is published. We confirm the site is genuine, reachable and filed under the right section, and we lift a short summary from the page itself so each entry honestly describes what is on offer. Malware, deceptive fronts and thin doorway pages are turned away at the door.
Outbound links carry rel="nofollow" — Dispatch is a directory, not a link market. We keep the register tidy by hand precisely so it stays a reference rather than a noticeboard for spam.
Free, and staying that way
Filing a site costs nothing. There is no paid lane, no rush-review surcharge and no upsell waiting at the end. The register grows the honest way: real owners file real sites.
Who keeps the register
Dispatch is maintained by its editorial desk, who review submissions and tend the sections. Spotted an entry that is wrong, dead or in the wrong section? Send word and we will set it right.
File your site
If you run a legitimate website, you can file it with Dispatch in about a minute — pick a section, paste your URL, and we will take care of the summary.
